Colin Burke

Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Colin graduated with his Degree in Science from Massey University Palmerston North. He was drawn to cardiology after witnessing an echocardiogram being done, which resulted in him immediately knowing he’d like to advance further with.
In 2000 he started his career at Greenlane Hospital in Auckland, where he was a trainee Physiologist. After graduating in 2002, Colin commenced his role in adult and paediatric cardiac echo for both Auckland Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre.
After graduating with his Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac) in 2006, Colin went on to work at North Shore Hospital to advance his career in echocardiography, before joining the team at Heart Check in Christchurch.
