THE HEARTCHECK TEAM

Your Heartcheck scan will be read and reported members of the Ascot Radiology team - lead by Dr Phil Weeks and Dr David Rogers
Phil is a graduate of the University of Otago in 1980. He completed his training in Radiodiagnosis on 1991. He spent time in Vancouver and Cambridge during his training, concentrating on Ultrasound, Scintigraphy and MRI imaging. He then spent 18 months as a fellow in Cardiac Radiology at Green Lane Hospital before moving to Middlemore. He is currently Joint Clinical Head and Director of Ultrasound, with full involvement in the interventional and angiographic services provided at Middlemore. He has regular sessions working on the MRI in South Auckland.

David trained in medicine at Otago University and completed his radiology training in Auckland. He has held staff positions at National Women's and Green Lane Hospitals. David is the New Zealand Councillor for the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, founding partner of Green Lane Imaging and is the CEO and a director of Ascot Radiology. David's radiology interests include body imaging, interventional and vascular radiology and ultrasound, including obstetric imaging.
